Performance

The Mirage draws power from a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine that produces 78 horsepower and 74 pound-feet of torque. While those numbers might not sound impressive, the Mirage is surprisingly peppy, thanks to its lightweight design. The Mitsubishi car also gets great gas mileage. It gets an EPA-estimated 33 mpg in the city and 41 mpg on the highway with the CVT transmission, or 34/40 mpg with the five-speed manual transmission.

Design

The new Mirage has a tall profile, giving it good headroom. The cabin design is attractive and modern, with a simple control layout that's easy to use. Standard exterior features include 15-inch steel wheels, automatic headlights, LED daytime running lights, and body-color mirrors and door handles. Optional features include 16- or 17-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, chrome exterior trim accents, and heated side mirrors.
